Password fields in forms showed the text which is being typed in.
When the user filled a form the document was set modified.

New implementation of table formatting.

<PRE> is no longer represented by a list of lines, but simply by
raw text containing line break characters.

This allows a <PRE> to contain such elements as <SPAN>, <EM>, <STRONG>
etc. These character level elements can now span across several lines
within the <PRE>.
